to our exhibition. We had a great time. Never expected so many people to come to be honest ;-).

We are here in front of the image that started our idea of a collaboration between photography and painting. We had some pictures/paintings that had sort of the same subject. Hanneke had a painting of an old Omani man and I had the same type of man photographed. Hanneke had some abstract collage type of painting and I made an abstract photo (like dots and curls and between the lines). Flowers was an other shared subject and so on. 

Because some of you asked to put the images up here on the blog. I decided to make an album of it. At the side bar you can see a link. If you click on it, it will show you the images. For those who still want to order, you can. The photos are OMR 50 (matted and framed). 

**By the way I am fully booked till September for photo sessions. Please contact me if you are interested in sessions from September onwards**

Exiting news... exhibition coming up

Here you find an invitation to the Exhibition of Hanneke Muijs and Hilde van der Sterren.

Hanneke and Hilde are two Dutch ladies who have quite some things in common. The way they think about art. The way they see color, composition and lines. Hanneke uses mainly paint in her work and Hilde paints with light (photography). The idea to do a exhibition together was there for a long time. To combine paintings with photo's.  And maybe because Hanneke will move countries this Summer. This is the time to do it.

So please come over to Villa Shams on Monday the 24th of May or Tuesday the 25th of May and see our work.

The opening will be on Monday morning from 10 am till 2 pm. But we will be there as well from 5 to 9 pm. If Tuesday suits your schedule better? Please come between 10 am till 2 pm or in the afternoon between 5 to 9 pm.
